Year 4 - Queen of Heart jam sandwiches.
Our Computing lesson today was an unplugged activity. We didn't need to use the computers to practice writing an algorithm. An algorithm is a clear set of instructions to allow you to solve a problem. In this case, Alice had no idea how to make heart jam sandwiches so we need to carefully think how to instruct her in small, clear steps.
Today, Year 4 used a set of keywords to help them write an accurate algorithm so that Alice the robot could make a heart jam sandwich. It got really tricky at times but we got there in the end! They really were too good to eat!
