Year 5 have been taking keeping healthy pretty serious this year and have been involved in workshops to improve their understanding of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
As part of this they have even challenged year 4 to a 'drinks swap' where they get points for swapping sugary drinks for drinks like squash and water! I wonder who will win the challenge!?
To help year 5 with their healthy choices, parents came in to learn about diet to and together they completed some activities and tasks to raise the awareness of eating and drinking too many high fat and sugary foods!
Did you know that a can of cola has over 7 teaspoons of sugar in it?!
Why not try swapping it for a glass of squash?
