Yardley Wood Community Primary School
Responsible Computer Use
We use the school computers and the internet for learning.
The rules below will help us to be fair to others and keep everyone safe.
INTERNET RULES
I know not to share any passwords that my teacher has provided for me
If I think someone knows my password I will tell a teacher straight away.
I will not look at or delete other people's files.
I will only use the computers at school when a member of staff is present and has said I can.
I will only click on a link if I am sure I know where it will take me to.
I will be kind and polite online
I will not visit websites without my teacher's permission.
If I see an image that I know is wrong, I will close the page and tell the teacher.
I will not give out my home address or any phone number or arrange to meet anyone over the internet,
even a friend.
I know that the school can check my messages, web pages that I have viewed and my computer files.
If I see anything I am unhappy with or I receive a message I do not like I will tell a teacher as soon as I can
I understand that if I deliberately break these rules, I could be stopped from using the computers at school.
