Uniform Information
We expect all children to come to school dressed appropriately and sensibly.
School Uniform
The school has an attractive uniform and we actively encourage children to wear it and be proud of it. We believe that a school uniform affords many advantages for both parents and school.
The school uniform is:
- Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress (required)
- White polo neck shirt or white shirt / blouse (required)
- Royal blue jumper, cardigan or sweatshirt (required). Sweatshirts with a school logo may be purchased from Clive Marks and Mansuri in Kings Heath, however plain royal blue sweatshirts, jumpers and cardigans are also available at most supermarkets.
- Children should wear flat, black school shoes, with closed toes (required)
- In the summer months children may choose to wear a blue checked / gingham dress, or grey shorts / skirt with a white polo t shirt (optional)
It is very important to clearly mark all items of clothing with your child's name.
Uniform can be purchased from second-hand retailers. School also has a supply of second-hand uniform for emergencies.
PE Kit
- white t-shirt, black shorts and black slip-on pumps (required)
- A change of footwear and socks is essential (required)
PE kit must clearly labelled and brought into school each week.
Swimming
- A swimming costume, goggles and towel for swimming (required). School will inform you when you child's class has swimming lessons.
Property in School
The Local Authority will not accept responsibility for items of personal property being lost or damaged in school. Teachers cannot accept such responsibility either. However, we do our best to ensure that children’s property is kept safe. Please avoid bringing toys and/or valuables such as mobile phones in to school as these are easily damaged, lost or swapped, causing unnecessary distress and expense.
